12 Week Outdoor Group Training Camp   I have been exercising for many years, mainly running, up to 5 times a week and not seeing much improvement in my body, so I thought maybe I should get a personal trainer and try to find out why I wasn't acheiving the results I wanted.
Troy Shipsey was my personal trainer and I cannot rave enough about the encouragement, support and incentive he gave me throughout my transformation period. I gave myself 3 months to acheive the results I have long strived for.

There were times when I just didn't feel like pushing myself, but Troy was there and would push me to do my best every time and with this little push (it was all I needed) - it made me want to do my best and prove to myself that I really could work harder and really push myself a lot further than I had in the past years.

I started to see results after just five weeks which was obviously a great incentive to keep on track.

After 12 weeks - I have lost 5.2 kilos on the scales and gained muscles; lost 23cm over my body (mainly stomach area), and my bodyfat percentage has gone from 29% to 25%.

It's a wonderful feeling to have finally acheived the body I have always wanted. If I knew that a personal trainer could keep me on track and motivate me this easily, I would have done this a long time ago.

Centennial Park Group Fitness Training   My wife Rachel was fed up with listening to my yearly pledge to lose weight and get fit and it never happening so she entered me into a “Body for Wife” competition being jointly run by Mix 106.5 and Channel 7’s Sunrise program. They were offering free membership to a gym and access to a personal trainer for a period of 12 weeks. Luckily for me I was one of 3 contestants chosen and even luckier to have been paired with Troy Shipsey of Fittabodies as my PT.


After Troy assessed my level of fitness, fat ratios, high blood pressure etc he put me on the Fittabodies “Your Fitter Body Challenge” program. My body didn’t know what had hit it in the first couple of days but Troy was on hand to encourage me and provide expert nutritional advice as well as putting me on a fitness program ideally suited to my physique. Troy had the skills to make sure I remained committed and on track. I surprised myself how my fitness levels quickly improved and the weight started falling off, as a result of this, I tackled each week with growing enthusiasm, not missing one daily session at the gym.

In the past I would dismiss gyms and personal trainers but now cannot recommend it highly enough to achieve the results I have done in those 12 weeks. I have gone from a very unmotivated slob weighing 113kgs down to 98kgs (a loss of 15kgs). I now have an increased zest for life, spend much more time with my kids in sporting activities, my wife thinks I don’t look half bad, my blood pressure has improved out of sight and thanks to Troy I was the NSW winner of the ‘Body For Wife’ for most improved hubby and got to have a laugh on national TV for my efforts.

Dear Troy,

Thank you so much for everything you have done for me over this past 12 weeks. I have thoroughly enjoyed the fitness workouts every morning. The variety is great and you inspire everyone in the group to do their best every session. Your belief in everyone helps them to get through the things that they think impossible. Who would have ever thought I could run around Centennial Park 1 1/2 times?? Certainly not me!! I have learnt a lot over the last 12 weeks about health, fitness and also, most importantly, about me.

Thanks to Troy, I have lost 26kg on the scales. I dropped 24cm off my waist and 17cm off my hips. My arms have decreased in size by 4cm yet my strength has more than doubled. My blood pressure has returned to normal and my body fat went from 32% to 21%. All in 5 months.
